Alberta Reier, 90, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 3003 W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 8:54 PM at Hospice of Miami County, Troy, Ohio. She was born April 13, 1927 in Randolph County, Indiana, the daughter of Merl and Anna (Donahue) Ebeling and they are deceased. She was married to Louis Bud Reier in 1946 and he passed away in 1999. Surviving are three daughters, Nancy Woolley of Sidney, Ohio, Patti Fridley and husband Bob of Sidney, Ohio, and Peggy Baird and husband D. Jay of Sidney, Ohio; five sons, Mike Reier and wife Sandra of Sidney, Ohio, Thomas Reier and wife Priscilla of Sidney, Ohio, Craig Reier and wife RaShel of Sidney, Ohio, Tim Reier and wife Sherri of Jackson Center, Ohio and Mark Reier and wife Barb of Sidney, Ohio; one sister, Doris Fields and husband Mack of Winchester, Indiana and one brother, George Ebeling and wife Barbara of Union City, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. One daughter, Ronda Reier is deceased and one grandson is deceased. Also three sister and three brothers are deceased. She had worked at Dorothy Love Retirement Community at one time as a nursing assistant. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney and burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 4-7 PM and from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church, Wilson Hospice or Miami County Hospice, Troy, Ohio. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
