Ann T. Tierney

Ann T. Tierney, 85, of Conover, Ohio, was called home to heaven on July 9, 2022, at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sidney, Ohio. She was born April 13, 1937, in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Catherwood) Tierney.

Ann is survived by her best friends, Orville & Ruth Bensman of Sidney Ohio. Ann was preceded in death by both her parents.

Ann graduated from high school and went on to attend New York University where she obtained her liberal arts degree. Ann worked at Bell Telephone in marketing and sales before she retired in 1978. Ann was a member of the Garden State Horsemans Association and the New Jersey Horsemans Association. Ann enjoyed playing with her dogs especially her horses but most of all spending time with her best friends. Ann was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, Ohio.

In keeping with Anns wishes, she will be cremated and a Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Angels Catholic Church on Friday July 22, 2022 at 10:30am. Her final resting place will be at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio. Online condolences may be left for the Tierney family at www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com.
