Anne L. Coon

Anne L. Coon, 70, Sidney, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 6:20 PM at the Pavilion in Sidney, Ohio. She was born November 13, 1947 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of William H. and Helen Maude (Jones) Coon and they are deceased. Surviving is a brother, William Thomas Coon and wife Kathleen of Little Rock, Arkansas and a sister, Catherine Minser and husband Edmund of Englewood, Ohio and nephew, Brian Coon of Madison, Wisconsin, niece, Beth Scheckelhoff of Leipsic, Ohio and nephews, Timothy Alan Coon of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jack M. Minser of Miamisburg, Ohio and six great nieces and nephews. She had a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Ohio Northern University and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Dayton and was retired from the Sidney City Schools. She was in the Ohio Northern University Hall of Fame. She loved to golf, travel and also loved her dogs. She was club champ in golf at Shelby Oaks Golf Course in Sidney and had two hole in one's in golf in her lifetime. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 9-11 AM for a memorial gathering. Burial will be at a later date at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.
