Anne Louise Spoltman, 85, passed away at the Fair Haven Shelby County Home in Sidney on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM. She was born March 13, 1929 in St. Marys, Ohio the daughter of Lester and Loreen (Swonger) Taylor and step-daughter of Leonard (Red) Starrett and they are deceased. She was married on September 27, 1947 to Gerald E. (Jerry) Moon and he passed away in 1967. She married Edmund Spoltman on August 31, 1975 and he passed away in 1990. For the last twenty years she has had her loving companion, Richard (Dick) Moloney who survives in Sidney. Surviving are two children, Jerri Ann Taylor Van Horn and husband Emerson of Anna, Ohio and Terry Moon and wife Jody of Sidney; two step-children, Margene Bennett and Ray Spoltman both of Sidney. Also survived by grandchildren, Tambra Brown and husband Tony of Sidney, Chad Taylor, Danielle Moon, Jay Moon, Phillip Moon and Angel Stucky and numerous step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. One son, Jay Moon, one step-son, Steve Spoltman and one sister and two brothers are deceased. She was a 1947 graduate of Sidney High School and was retired from Copeland Corporation in Sidney. She was a member of the Sidney American Legion Auxiliary and Holy Angels Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Schmitmeyer. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2-6 PM.
