Audrey Margaret Childers

Audrey Margaret Childers, 95, 1033 Pinecrest Rd., Boiling Spring Lakes, North Carolina died at Ocean Trail Nursing Center in Southport, North Carolina on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 6:30 AM. She was born August 24, 1910 in Tamelco, Illinois the daughter of Clifford William and Bessie Mae (Slayton) Stone. She was married in 1931 to William Sheridan Childers and he died in 1980. Surviving are two children, Marlene Rike and husband Carl of Southport, North Carolina and Grayce Swope and husband Dave of Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Deceased are two sons, Kenneth E. Childers, and Clifford William Childers and one daughter, Phyllis Jean Crilley and five brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Graceland Cemetery.
