Audrey R. Macey

Audrey Rose (McCarty) Macey, 83, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to Heaven on December 11, 2022, at her residence in Sidney, Ohio. She was born May 7, 1939, in Marshall, Illinois, the daughter of the late Fred and Annie (Sanders) McCarty.

On August 30, 1958, she married Vernon Macey and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2011. They would have celebrated 53 years of marriage on August 30, 2011. Audrey was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Rod Anthony Macey, four sisters, and two brothers. Audrey is survived by two sons, Jason Vernon and Timothy Allan Macey both of Sidney; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Audrey & Vernon owned and operated Maceys Excavating & Cement in Sidney for several years. Audrey had retired from Bob Evans in 2009. Audrey was dearly loved by all those who knew her and will be greatly missed.

In keeping with Audreys wishes, she will be cremated, and a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Audreys final resting place will be at Pearl Cemetery next to her loving husband Vernon and little dog Coco. Online condolences may be left for the Macey family at www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com.
