Barbara A. Baker

Barbara Anne (Miller) Baker, 76, was called into the presence of the Lord on August 26,2017 at St. Ritas Medical Center, in Lima. Barb was born on August 14,1941, in Van Wert Ohio, the daughter of Mary Belle (Arb) and Daniel Miller, who preceded her in death. She was married on July 24, 1959, at the First Methodist Church in Van Wert, to Bruce Baker, who survives in Ohio City. They had 58 wonderful years together. With her husband Bruce, she was the co-owner of Baker Built Products, and Baker Built Air Wings, and they went to many trade shows and traveled together, enjoying life as it came. She also was the Treasurer of the Church of God in Ohio City, and a member of Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert. She was a deeply religious woman, and always had a smile on her face. To quote one of her favorite hymns, "It is well with my soul." Surviving her besides Bruce, are their children: Jane Cozad, and John (Michele) Baker. Barb had 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, who she loved very much. She also had two brothers, Stan (deceased) (Janelle-deceased) Miller, and Richard "Dick" (Margaret) Miller. She had brothers in law, Gale "Tim" (Linda) Baker, and Darle R. (Linda) Baker, and a sister in law Iris (deceased). (Robert-deceased) Laukhuf Friends may call at the Trinity Friends Church, 605 N. Franklin St., Van Wert, Ohio 45891 on August 29,2017, from 4:30-7:30 PM. There will be visitation before the service on August 30, 2017, at the Trinity Friends Church, from 10-11am, with the service beginning at 11am, with Pastors Greg Rice and Paul Hamrich, officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Ohio City. Floral deliveries can be taken to the Trinity Friends Church on August 29, from 1-4pm, and on August 30, from 9-10am. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Gideons, or CMA (Christian Motorcycle Assoc.) in memory of Barb. Arrangements have been entrusted to a CHURCHFUNERALS Direct Network Affiliate.
