Barbara Jeanette Vondenhuevel

Barbara Jeanette Vondenhuevel, 81, 5690 St. Rt. 29 East, Sidney, Ohio, passed away at the Pavilion and was called to the Lord on Monday, September 1, 2014 at 11:10 AM. She was born February 8, 1933 in Sheffield, Alabama, the daughter of William and Jeffie Pearl (Brewer) Clayton and they are deceased. She was married to Charles F. Vondenhuevel on July 24, 1948 and he passed away in 1989. Surviving are five sons, Charles F. Vondenhuevel of DeGraff, Ohio, Richard William Vondenhuevel of Sidney, Ohio, Raymond Vondenhuevel and wife Brenda of DeGraff, Ohio, James Vondenhuevel and wife Pam of Atwood, Tennessee and Paul Vondenhuevel of Sidney, Ohio and a daughter, Mary Ryder and husband Steve of Jackson Center, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Chalmers of Greenville, Ohio and Shirley Robinson of Piqua, Ohio. A great grandson, a sister and a brother are deceased. Mrs. Vondenhuevel was a homemaker and had retired from Fair Haven Shelby County Home. She had also worked in the cafeteria at Fairlawn High School at one time. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Private committal services will be held at a later date at the family farm.
