In memory of Betty Jane Dickerscheid nee Nickell: Devoted wife of Robert L. Dickerscheid, loving mother of Jane Gardner and Robert K. Dickerscheid, caring grandmother of Katie Gardner. Proud graduate of Middletown School of Nursing, Middletown, Ohio. Dedicated nurse at Ft. Hamilton Hughes Hospital and Wilson Memorial Hospital of Sidney, Ohio. Always remembered and loved by her family and friends. Her life epitomized the loveliness of a sweet smelling rose. One does not realize the beauty of a rose until you have had the opportunity of seeing all the parts of its life from bud to blossom to decay to the sweet taste of tea from the rose hips. Thank you for the journey. It was our wife and mother's request for no traditional services and is now resting peacefully with her heavenly family.
