Beverly J. Francis, 69, 313 S. Vandermark Rd., Sidney, Ohio died at the Bellbrook Rehab, Bellbrook, Ohio on Thursday, July 31, 2003 at 10:20 PM. She was born March 21, 1934 in Burnett, Wisconsin the daughter of Harry and Ada (Fulcher) Hanan. They are deceased. She was married on May 24, 1952 to Leon J. Francis and he survives along with seven children, Ellen and her husband, Mel Cabeen of Laura, Ohio; Kent Francis of Harriman, Tennessee; Dan Francis and his wife Brenda of Sidney, Ohio; David Francis of Columbus, Ohio; Jim Francis and his wife Shannon of Sidney, Ohio; Mark Francis of Sidney, Ohio and Sondra Schneider and her husband Tom of Piqua, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clayton Hanan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Earl Fulcher of Hudson, Iowa; one brother is deceased, Lavern Hanan. She was a 1952 graduate of West Salem High School in West Salem, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Sidney American Legion Auxiliary and Holy Angels Catholic Church. She worked at Shelby Hills School Early Child Center as a teacher. She retired in 1996 after 27 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Earl Fernandes. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Monday, August 4, 2003 from 5-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelby Hills School, 1200 Children's Home Rd., Sidney, Ohio 45365. Envelopes will also be at the funeral home.
