Bruce Kent Weber

Bruce Kent Weber, 70, passed away at his residence in Sidney, Ohio on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 23, 1947 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of George and Lois (Newman) Weber. Both parents and a brother, Mark, preceded him in death. On June 19, 1966, he married Susan Reeder in DeGraff, Ohio. She survives in Sidney. Bruce was a 1966 graudate of Sidney High School and was a United States Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Centruy Link as a Service Tech and was a member of the Sidney First United Methodist Church. In addition to Susan, he is survived by a daughter, Christine (Jason Hull) Mullennix of Sidney and a son, Jeremy (Kathleen) Weber of Piqua. He has five grandchildren, Jace Weber of Piqua, and in Sidney, Austin, Breanna, Cierra and Dakota Mullennix and two step-grandchildren, Jaselin Hull and Trace Hull. He is also survived by two brothers, Darrell (Patti) Weber of Boynton Beach, Florida and Ray Weber of Minster, Ohio. He dearly loved each and every member of his family. Bruce enjoyed doing yard work, attending antique car shows and showing his car. Bruce's family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Sidney First United Methodist Church, 230 E. Poplar St., Sidney, Ohio. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Sidney First United Methodist Church with Rev. Eileen Hix officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio. Military honors will be performed by the Sidney American Legion Post and the United States Army Honor Guard. Memorial contribuions may be made to Wilson Hospice or the Sidney First United Methodist Church in Bruce's name.
