Charles E. Rembold

Charles E. Rembold, 90, 1227 Sherwood Ct., Sidney, Ohio, passed away at Fair Haven Shelby County Home, Sidney, Ohio on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 6:05 PM. He was born July 12, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Walter O. and Marie (Kelley) Rembold and they are deceased. He married Dolores Hein on June 2, 1950 and she survives in Sidney, Ohio along with a daughter, Cynthia 'Cindy' (John) Scheu. One son, Jeffrey Rembold is deceased. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Emily (Chris) Barr, Allison (Kris) Zajack, Scott Scheu, Greg Rembold and Philip Rembold and five great-grandchildren. He took great joy in watching his grandchildren play sports. He loved playing golf. He was an employee of Frigidaire for 30 years as an engineer and was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of the Tom Club (Tired Old Man's Club) and the UCC Church of Christ, Dayton, Ohio. Private family graveside services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
