Charles F. Immel Sr. 59, 10967 Commanche Dr., Sidney, Ohio died at his residence on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 6:00 AM. He was born October 7, 1951 in Sidney, Ohio the son of John and Mary Ann (Wiseman) Immel Jr. and they are deceased. He married Elizabeth R. Mertz on July 21, 1973 and she survives along with two children, Charles F. Immel Jr. and wife Melissa of Springfield, Ohio and Noelle Shipley and husband Ron of Springfield, Ohio and two grandchildren, Seth and Paige Shipley. Also surviving is a sister, Patricia Aviles of Sidney, Ohio and a brother Gary Immel of Sidney, Ohio. Two brothers, Tommy and Jerry Immel are deceased. He had been employed at Ross Aluminum in Sidney for many years working various jobs there. He was a NASCAR fan and loved classic cars. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio with Evangelist Brent Wright. Burial will be at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 6-8 PM.
