Christina L. Carity

Christina L. Carity, 94, Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, Ohio, formerly of Sidney, Ohio died at the health care center on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 7:35 AM. She was born March 28, 1911 in Russia, Ohio the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Francis) Paulus. She moved to Sidney in the 1930's from Russia, Ohio. She was married June 22, 1940 to Alfred Carity and he died in 1956. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen DeMange of Versailles, Ohio and Sarah Magoto of Russia, Ohio and one sister-in-law, Bernice Paulus of Russia, Ohio. Five brothers and three sisters are deceased. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She worked at Bauers Restaurant in Sidney and was a homemaker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 6, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Bensman. Burial will be at St. Remy Cemetery, Russia, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Sunday, March 5, 2006 from 2-6 PM.
