Debbie A. Parker

Debbie A. (Richards) Parker, 65, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to heaven on December 19, 2022, she is the daughter of Peary (deceased) and Viola (Adams) Richards.

On March 17, 1971, Debbie married the love of her life, Sheldon Parker, who survives in Sidney, Ohio. She is also survived by her lovely mother, Viola Richards, of Sidney, Ohio, three children James (Pamela) Parker of Piqua, Ohio, Tyson (Melissa) Parker of Huffman, Texas, and Angela (Russell) Parker of Sidney, Ohio, along with five grandchildren (and their loved ones) and three great grandchildren and a few step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild and a few nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her father Peary Richards and three brothers Robert, John, and Mike Richards.

Following school, Debbie was a homemaker most of her life. Debbie enjoyed cooking, collecting signs, playing board/card games, watching her favorite soap operas on TV, spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, but most of all spending time with her children and family. Debbie was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Debbie was a member of the Church of God.

Somewhere in my heart beneath all my grief and pain, Is a smile I still wear at the sound of your dear name. The precious word is Mother, she was my world you see, But now my heart is breaking cause shes no longer here with me. God chose her for His angel to watch me from above, To guide me and advise me and know that Im still loved. The day she had to leave me when her life on earth was through, God had better plans for her, for this, I surely knew. When I think of her kind heart and all those loving years, My memories surround me and I cant hold back the tears. She truly was my best friend, someone I could confide in, She always had a tender touch and a warm and gentle grin. I want to thank you Mother for teaching me so well, And though the time has come that I must bid you this farewell. Ill remember all youve taught me and make you proud youll see. Thank you my Dear Mother for all the love you showed me. Although youve left this earth and now youve taken flight, I know that you are here with me each morning, noon and night.

Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Salm-McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Fisher. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio.
