Dolores Marie Weinstock
September 25, 1937 — January 29, 2016
Dolores Marie (Dietz) Weinstock, 78, of Maplewood, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 29, 2016 following an extended illness. Born in Botkins, Ohio, on September 25, 1937, Dolores was John and Florence (Steinke) Dietzs fifth child. She wed her beloved husband, Paul Weinstock in Sidney, Ohio on February 16, 1957. They enjoyed nearly 59 years of marriage. In addition to Paul, Dolores is survived by six children, Steven (Deborah) Weinstock, Sheryl (Mike) Bales, Sue Pash, Sandra Thobe, Stan (Karen) Weinstock and Stacey Weinstock; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, her sister, Betty Lovett, brother and sister-in-laws: Frances Dietz, Blaine Weinstock, Jolinda (Terry) Pollock, Karen Snow, Beverly (Glenn) Harkins, Marvin (Jerry) Weinstock, Doris (Dave) Booker, Doyle Weinstock, Dean (Rose Mary) Henry and Linda Weinstock, plus multiple cousins, nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Dietz, her father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Narelle Weinstock, her siblings and sibling-in-laws, Bernard (Dorothy) Dietz, Henry (Ester) Dietz, Mary (Mark) Heinfeld, Donald Dietz, Gary Lovett, William Weinstock, Barb Henry, Arvilla Weinstock, Dulcia Weinstock, Ronald Ullman, Jeff Weinstock, Dana Snow and Kathy Weinstock, son-in-law, Kevin Thobe and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Weinstock. Dolores was a member of Holy Angels Class of 1955. She enjoyed reading and working with yarn and she chaired the Shelby County Farm Bureau Fair Lunch Stand for multiple years. Dolores had several jobs over the years, but the job she loved the most was being a full time mom. Cremation services will take place. The family will host a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations to the Maplewood Fire Department, Maplewood, Ohio in Dolores memory.
