Don Earl Boyer Jr.

Don Earl Boyer Jr., 87, of Sidney, Ohio, passed in peace to his eternal life on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at his home. Born in Sidney, Ohio to Don Earl Boyer Sr. and Hazel Lavera (Lenox) Boyer on May 13, 1927, he lived all of his life near Hardin. He married Virginia Rose Cardo on July 3, 1948 and was married for 58 years at the time of her passing in 2007. Don retired from Stolle Corporation as supervisor of shipping with 41 years of service. During his retirement, he enjoyed his family, mowing lawn and woodworking. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ida Mae Harp and one brother, Louis Vinton Boyer. Don is survived by three children, Richard Boyer and wife Linda, James Boyer and wife Cheryl and Brenda Ganger and husband Robert; six grandchildren, Kimberly Voisard and husband Luke, Teresa Kelly, Cheryl Shoemaker and husband David, Julie Fuller and husband James , Aaron Boyer and wife Leslie and Bryan Boyer; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandsons. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney is handling the funeral arrangements and graveside services at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney will be at a later date.
