Donald B. Klikovits, 82, Pavilion Nursing Home, 705 Fulton St., Sidney, Ohio, formerly of 837 Taft St., Sidney, Ohio died at the nursing home on Friday, October 29, 2004 at 5:15 PM. He was born February 4, 1922 in Ft. Recovery, Ohio, the son of Andrew and Marie (Uppenkamp) Klikovits and they are deceased. He was married on August 31, 1946 to Stella Caroline Quinter and she died February 6, 2003. Surviving are eight children, Rebecca Worthington of Mason, Ohio; Joann Beemer and husband John of Anna, Ohio; Kathy CaJacob and husband Doug of Sidney, Ohio; Carol Gaier and husband Jim of Sidney, Ohio; Elaine Spiknall and husband Mark of Canal Winchester, Ohio; Linda Hoefling and husband Doug of Piqua, Ohio; Elizabeth Baginski and husband Ron of Cleveland, Ohio; and Donald E. Klikovits and wife Teri of Sidney, Ohio; eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosalia Heyne and husband Lester of Sidney, Ohio; and Janet Becker and husband Tom of Anna, Ohio; He was a 1940 graduate of Sidney High School. He was an Army veteran in World War II and was a member of the Sidney American Legion, VFW, Amvets and the Shelby County Deer Hunter's Association and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He had worked at Monarch Machine for almost 50 years as a serviceman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. James Reutter. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 from 3-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Hospice, 915 W. Michigan St., Sidney, Ohio 45365. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
