Donald E. Orndorff Sr.

Donald E. Orndorff Sr., 80, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to the lord on Wednesday December 29th, 2021 at Fair Haven Shelby County Home in Sidney, Ohio. He was born on August 1st, 1941 in Piqua, Ohio to Roy and Romia (Wion) Orndorff. On August 22nd, 1959 Donald married the love of his life Patricia (Pellman) Orndorff and she survives.

Donald is survived by his wife Patricia of 63 years, and two sons Scott (Susan) Orndorff of North Carolina, Donald (Jeni) Orndorff Jr. of Sidney, Ohio, one daughter in-laws Mary Orndorff of Sidney, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by both his parents, two sons Anthony and Kevin Orndorff, three brothers Richard, Jerry, and Gary Orndorff, one half-brother Everett Wion, and one grandchild Michael.

Donald attended Piqua High School. Donald worked at French Oil in Piqua, Ohio, and Edwards Machine in for Fort Loramie, Ohio for several years. After Donald retired he started working at Menards part-time. Donald was a very special person who had many, many friends. Donald enjoyed going fishing, just tinkering around their house, and staying at home with his children, but most of all he loved to spend time with his wife, grandchildren, family and friends.

In keeping with Donalds wishes he will be cremated, and there are no services to be held. Online condolences may be left for the Orndorff family at www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.
