Donald E. Osborne, 87, of Sidney, passed away on January 13, 2021, at 2:33 am at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born July 2, 1933, in St. Marys, the son of Charles D and Adilene (Anderson) Osborne, both parents preceded him in death. On December 23, 1966, he was married to Shirley Burton, who survives in Sidney they were married 54 wonderful years. He was her sweetheart!

Donald retired from Copeland Corporation as a Lab Technician, and loved to travel with Shirley and their kids, family get- togethers, and enjoyed being out in the sun, and any kind of adventure life took him on. He was an Army Veteran and served his Country proudly and was very patriotic.

Along with Shirley, he is survived by: Ginger Pulfer, Timothy (Billie) Osborne-Fisher, Donna (Lance) Garcia of NM, Dwayne (LeeAnn) Fisher, and Teresa (Patrick) LeMaster, all of Sidney. He is also survived by a sister; Melva (Kevin) Stisser. Donald and Shirley have 19 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: Michael Fisher; Sisters: Virginia Reddicliffe, Vivian Faller, Jaunita (Charles) Doseck, Billie Lou Engelhart, and Marie Osborne; brothers; Charles 'Sonny' Osborne, Dale Osborne, and Jack Osborne. He was so proud of his family and treasured them all.

Visitation and Services will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home, 502 S. Ohio Ave. Sidney from 11am-1pm. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing will be expected, and those with any symptoms are requested to send condolences online. Service will begin at 1pm, officiated by Pastor John Geissler. Burial will follow services at Cedar point Cemetery, Pasco. Military Honors will be graciously performed by the US Army Honor Guard, The Sidney American Legion/VFW Combined Honor Guard and the Patriot Guard Riders. Memorial Contributions may be made in Donald's name to Wilson Home Health.
