Doretta Alexander

Doretta Alexander, 65, passed away at her home in Sidney, with the love of her life, Ron Alexander at her side. She was born on November 12, 1954, the daughter of Junetta Sloan. On May 28, 1993, she was married to Ronald Alexander, and for 26 years, they were a great team. Ron survives in Sidney.

Doretta retired from NK Parts in Sidney, and was a very active lady, an avid bowler, and loved traveling. Her favorite times were with the girls on Wednesday nights in the bowling league, and she was very lucky to have many friends. Ron and Doretta met at the bowling alley, he loved her until the very end of her life, and exemplified the wedding vows they took, as he took very good care of her.

She is also survived by two brothers, Duane Sawyer, and Tony Jarrels, both of Columbus, Ohio. A sister, Donetta Sawyer, preceded her in death.

Per the family wishes, there will be no visitation or services at the funeral home, her cremated remains will be buried at Pearl Cemetery at a later date, in a private ceremony.
