E. Jean Carper, 82, 326 Jefferson St., Sidney, Ohio died at Heartland of Piqua, 275 Kienle Dr., Piqua, Ohio on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 6:05 AM. She was born February 26, 1927 in Lakeview, Ohio the daughter of William and Edna (Wagoner) Morris and they are deceased. She was married December 26, 1958 to Louis G. (Boots) Carper and he died in 1986. Surviving are two sons, Glenn Roediger of Sidney, Ohio and Jake and wife Judy Roediger of Troy, Ohio and one granddaughter, Beth Roegider of Sidney, Ohio and one sister-in-law, Jean Morris of Jackson Center, Ohio. Three brothers, Lowell, Everett, and Russell Morris are deceased. She was a 1945 graduate of Anna High School. She was a member of the North Broadway Church of Christ, Sidney, Ohio and had been a waitress at the Spot Restaurant in Sidney for 30 years retiring in 1997. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Brent Wright officiating at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney. Burial will be at Pearl Cemetery, Swanders, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesdya, June 17, 2009 from 6-8 PM.
