Edna L. Bertsch

Edna L. Bertsch, 90, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Brookdale, Troy, Ohio at 8:42 PM. She was born February 14, 1928 in Sidney, Ohio. She married Charles Bertsch on August 18, 1957 and he preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda McBride and husband Dennis of Beavercreek, Ohio and Barbara Covault and husband Dale of Sidney, Ohio and one son, Michael Bertsch of Sidney, Ohio and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a 1945 graduate of Sidney High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 1-2 PM and a committal service will be held following the visitation at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney, Ohio with Rev. Michael Althauser. Memorial contributions may be made to the food pantry at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, Anna, Ohio or the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
