Edward S. Wical

Edward S. Wical, 79, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to heaven on October 20th, 2021. He was born on December 15th, 1941 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Ralph and Bertha (Chambers) Wical and they are deceased. He married Jaunita (Timeus) Wical on April 30th, 1960 and she survives.

Ed is survived by his wife Jaunita, four children, Lori (Doug Tangeman) Luthman, Beverly Smart, Lisa (Ron) Grilliot, Dale (Belinda) Wical all of Sidney, Ohio; two brothers, Carl Wical of Sidney Ohio; and Willard Wical of Lewes, Delaware; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren; Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce and Mary and one brother, Miren.

Ed graduated from Sidney High School class of 1959. He worked for many years for Stolle Precision in Sidney, Ohio in purchasing. Ed was a very special person who had many, many friends. He was past president of Jaycees and was a member of the Wooden Shoe Beer Can Club. In Eds spare time he enjoyed woodworking and golfing, and most of all he loved to play with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spend time with his children. He was a member of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church in Anna.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Salm- McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home with Rev. David Eidson. Interment will follow at Pearl Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call on Tuesday October 26th, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney.
