Gary W. Immel, 71, formerly of Sidney, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at 3:20 PM at the Union City Care Center, Union City, Ohio. He was born August 18, 1946 in Sidney, Ohio the son of John and Mary Ann (Wiseman) Immel and they are deceased. His wife, Elizabeth Immel survives and a sister, Patricia Aviles of Sidney, Ohio. Three brothers, Thomas, Jerry and Charles Immel are deceased. He was retired from Perkins in Sidney. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 5-7 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
