Harold A. Kellner

Harold A. Kellner, 80, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to the Lord on Thursday November 4th, 2021. He was born on July 8th, 1941 in DuBois, Pennsylvania to Alvin and Mildred (Fridley) Kellner, and both parents preceded him in death. On September 12th, 1964 Harold married the love of his life Diane (Haffner) Kellner. Harold is survived by his wife of 57 years, three children, Amy (Brian) Willis of Cincinnati, Ohio; Dan (Debby) Kellner of Cincinnati, Ohio; Ken (Jennifer) Kellner of Sidney, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Harold is a 1959 graduate of Bradford High School in Pennsylvania. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree in Design from the University of Cincinnati. He worked for BF Goodrich in Troy, Ohio for 16 years before retiring in 2005. Harold was a 4th Degree Knight in the Minster and Sidney Knights of Columbus and attended Holy Angels Catholic Church. He was very much involved with his faith, participating as a member of the Serra Club, the church funeral choir, and Schoenstatt. Harold was very musically inclined, playing instruments including the clarinett, saxaphone, harmonica, guitar, piano and bagpipes. In addition to playing music, he enjoyed gardening and painting, but most of all he loved to spend time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 12th, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Fr. Jarred Kohn. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney on Thursday, November 11th, 2021 from 5-7 PM. The Knights of Columbus will have a prayer service at 6:45 PM.
