Helen M. Kohlhorst

Helen M. (Fogt) Kohlhorst, 84, 185 Voyager Ct., Sidney, Ohio died at the Pavilion nursing home in Sidney, Ohio on Sunday, July 3, 2005 at 5:05 AM. She was born November 21, 1920 in Botkins, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Rosa (Gerhart) Sitzman. She was married January 7, 1942 to Orin K. Fogt and he died May 1, 1965. She married Morris Kohlhorst on May 23, 1980 and he died November 12, 2002. Surviving are two children, Connie Kerns and husband Tom of Sidney, Ohio and Valerie Langenkamp and husband Gary of Piqua, Ohio; four grandchildren, Scott Langenkamp, Amy Siegel, Brian Langenkamp and Erin Frilling; two great-grandsons, Cade Langenkamp and Collen Frilling; four step children, William and wife DeDe Kohlhorst of Roseville, California; James and wife Nancy Kohlhorst of Sidney, Ohio; Elizabeth Edwards of Sidney, Ohio and Christine and husband Gary Koppin of Sidney, Ohio; ten step-grandchildren, Becky Rosciszewski, Michelle Leugers, Bud Edwards, Ben Kohlhorst, Christopher Kohlhorst, Jill Kohlhorst, Vicky Baker, Troy Kohlhorst, Malia Koppin and Gretchen Kopping and one step great grandson, Owen Leugers. Four brothers and two sisters are deceased. She was a graduate of Botkins High School, Botkins, Ohio. She loved to needlepoint. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She was a homemaker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 8, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Bensman. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Botkins, Ohio.
