Helen May Courter, 77, passed away at the Fair Haven Shelby County Home on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 6:14 PM. She was born March 6, 1937 in Gastonia, North Carolina, the daughter of Stephen Manzy and Mary Worth (Ledford) Neal and they are deceased. Surviving is a daughter, Kim Pauley and husband Ron of Port Jefferson, Ohio and a son Frank Courter and wife Rise of Eastview, Tennessee; one sister and two brothers of North Carolina and three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A daughter, Kathy Courter is deceased. She was a homemaker. She was a Christian. Cremation services will take place. A gathering of family and friends are invited to the daughters home, Kim and Ron Pauley, 18227 Goldenrod Ct., Sidney, Ohio on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 4-6 PM to celebrate Helens life. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney is handling the funeral arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 3003 W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, Ohio 45365.
