Howard B. Acker

Howard B. Acker, 82, 6477 Hardin-Wapak Rd., Sidney, Ohio died at his residence on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 1:43 PM. He was born January 27, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Howard B. and Alma (Goerss) Acker and they are deceased. He was married to Cecile Questel on December 30, 1955 and she survives along with one son, Todd B. Acker and wife Marcia of Sidney and one grandson, Jordon Acker. He attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio for three years and was a United States Navy veteran. He had been employed at Bailey Meter in Wickliffe, Ohio as a designer for 30 years. He was a member of the Sidney Masons and a member of the Hardin United Methodist Church in Hardin. He enjoyed collecting old cars and repairing cars. As per deceased request, the body will be cremated and there are no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Hospice, 1083 Fairington Dr., Sidney, Ohio.
