Jane Q. Hummel

Jane Q. Hummel, 90, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 4:03 AM at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. She was born January 10, 1923 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of Damon and Edith (Silver) Quinn and they are deceased. She was married to Robert Hummel and he preceded her in death. Surviving is a niece, Ann Athey and husband Steve of Spring Valley, Ohio and a great niece, Karen Heinrich of Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. Hummel was a University of Cincinnati graduate. She had been a food service manager for Proctor and Gamble in Cincinnati. She was a member of the Altrusa Club in Sidney and was of the Presbyterian faith. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Amos Chapel at Dorothy Love Retirement Community with Rev. Keith Matthews. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney with Rev. Keith Matthews. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney is handling the funeral arrangements.
