Jerry L. Mclaughlin

Jerry L. McLaughlin, 83, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to heaven on November 30, 2023, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney, Ohio. He was born September 9, 1940, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Edwin and Viola (Seigle) McLaughlin.
Jerry is survived by one brother and one sister Larry (Susan) McLaughlin of Sidney and Doris Stanzyck of Florida. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Christine (Mayse) McLaughlin, one sister Carol Snider, one brother Kenneth McLaughlin, and both his parents Edwin and Viola (Seigle) McLaughlin.
Jerry attended McCartyville School. Jerry worked as a truck driver for many years before retiring. Jerry had many friends and had a big heart and would help anyone he could. Jerry will be missed by all who knew him. Jerry was of the Catholic faith.
In keeping with Jerrys wishes, he will be cremated, and a graveside service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, Ohio at 2:30 PM. Online condolences may be left for the McLaughlin family at www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sidney Senior Center in remembrance of Jerry.
