Jerry Patton

Jerry Patton, 53, 8540 State Route 47, Sidney, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 3:46 AM at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio from injuries received from a motorcycle accident on August 15, 2009. He was born November 15, 1955 in Prestonburg, Kentucky the son of Paul and Minerva (Hill) Patton who preceded him in death. On November 27, 1989 he married DeAnna K. Watkins who survives along with two daughters, Tiffany Watkins of Botkins, Ohio and Mrs. Jamie (Minerva) Stephens of Sidney and three brothers, Paul K. (Ann) Patton, Ted (Janet) Patton of Waynesfield, Ohio and Gordon (Joyce) Patton of Sidney and two sisters, Nancy A. McDonald of Lima, Ohio and Mrs. John (Carrie) Spillman of Jackson Center, Ohio and a deceased sister, Dessie J. Patton. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Dameon, Hailey, Emily and Payten and many nieces and nephews. He was a 1974 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1:45 PM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home with Rev. John Spencer. Burial will be at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.
