John is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Eikenberry, along with their children, Brittney Spirito of Tipp City, Andy Eikenberry of Centerville, and Michael Eikenberry of Illinois. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Shaylyn and Payton Kincade, and Zachary Clause, as well as his siblings, Bill and Mary Ellen Bowne of Idaho, Maryjean and Joe Eikenberry of California, Jim and Kendra Eikenberry of South Carolina, and Rick and Pam Arnold of Sidney, Ohio. John was also loved by many nieces and nephews, and all that knew him. John is proceeded in death by his parents, as well as grandchildren, Isaiah and Kelsey Spirito, and his daughter-in-law, Michelle Eikenberry.

John was the life of the party, and every reunion, earning himself the nickname “Godfather”. John founded Eikenberry Retirement and worked in the business for over 40 years, and became a dedicated advisor to so many. After selling the business, “Godfather” still enjoyed talking and seeing all of his old clients. In John’s words, they “Came in as clients, and left as friends”.

For the last two years, John could be found on the front porch of his lake house, blasting blues music, with a glass of bourbon, and a cigar, with his best friends, Matt and Ozzie beside him. Godfather will be missed by so many, but his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
