John Immel Jr.

John Immel Jr., 83, 510 Buckeye Ave., Sidney, Ohio died at the nursing home, Sidney Care Center on Saturday, May 24, 2003 at 4:20 AM. He was born June 1, 1919 in Logan County, Ohio the son of John and Stella (Long) Immel and they are deceased. He was married March 30, 1946 to Mary Ann Wiseman in Holy Angels Catholic Church and she died in 1991. Surviving are three children, Patricia Aviles of Sidney, Ohio; Gary and his wife Donna Immel of Sidney, Ohio and Charles and his wife Elizabeth Immel of Sidney, Ohio; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two sons are deceased - Gerald Immel and Thomas Immel. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He was retired from Orr-Felt as a laborer. A Mass of Christian Burial wil be held on Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Earl Fernandes. Burial will be at Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 from 4-8 Pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
