John J. Peltier

John J. Peltier, 73, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 10th, 2022 after a month-long battle with COVID-19.

He was born on November 24th, 1948 in Minster, Ohio to Joesph and Jane (Vogelsang) Peltier who preceded him in death. John graduated from Minster High School class of 1967. After serving in the United States Air Force, John worked in banking and retired from AWP as a road safety worker.

John, known affectionately as PJ, was considered by his many friends to be a very special and caring person. He enjoyed fishing, playing the bass guitar, riding his motorcycle, and drawing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

John is survived by his three children, John (Rebecca) Peltier Jr. of West Chester, Ohio, Jennifer (Marlon) Burns, and Lesly (Jesse) Ralston both of Sidney, Ohio; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Johns wishes, he will be cremated, and the following services will celebrate his life: A Prayer Service will be held at Salm- McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home on Friday January 28th, 2022 from 5-7 P.M. and A Memorial Mass will held at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney, Ohio on Saturday January 29th, 2022 at 10 A.M. with Father Aaron Hess officiating.

John will be interred at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio on Monday January 31st, 2022 at 10 A.M. with full military honors.
