Julius F. 'Bud' Stein

Julius F. Bud Stein, 86, Columbus, Ohio formerly of Sidney, Ohio died at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio on Monday, November 24, 2003. He was born August 26, 1917 in Sidney, Ohio the son of Julius C. and Ida (Bambauer) Stein. He was married October 7, 1944 to Roberta Timeus and she survives along with two daughters of Columbus, Ohio - Carol Stein and Rebecca Stein. One brother is deceased - Karl Stein. He was a 1935 graduate of Sidney High School and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of the North Community Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio and was field agent for Buckeye (Continental) Insurance for 25 years. He was formerly associated in the Stein Insurance Comapny in Sidney with his father. He was a volunteer at Riverside Methodist Hospital for 13 years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2003 at 2:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sidney, Ohio with Rev. Jonathan Schriber. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. The graveside services will be private. Friends may call at St. John's Lutheran Church on Friday, November 28, 2003 from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Community Lutheran Church, 114 Morse Rd., Columbus 43214 in his memory.
