Kenneth Eugene Cox, 92, 1210 Rees Dr., Sidney, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 10:31 PM at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio after a short illness. He was born June 19, 1917 in Knoxville, Tennessee the son of Millard Alfred and Cleo (Hutchison) Cox and they are deceased. He is survived by his wife, Ophelia (Cruze) Cox of Knoxville, Tennessee and a daughter, Rebecca Gambill of Sidney, Ohio. Also survived by a granddaughter, Teresa Petrocelli of Sidney, Ohio and a grandson, Mark Wiseman of Piqua, Ohio and four great-grandsons. One daughter, Linda Wiseman is deceased and also two grandsons, Bruce Wiseman and John Wiseman are deceased. He had worked at Allied Steel in Knoxville, Tennessee as a welder for many years. He was a member of the Masons and was of the Baptist faith. He met a lot of interesting people in his life including Colonel Sanders and Babe Ruth. He had a great sense of humor and was a practical jokester. He loved to watch big time wrestling matches. Friends may call at the Rose Mortuary, 1421 N. Broadway, Knoxville, Tennessee on Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 5-7 PM and again on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at Rose Mortuary at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bookwalter Cemetery, Knoxville, Tennessee. Local funeral arrangements are being handled by Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney, Ohio and condolences may be sent on Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home's web site at: www.salm-mcgillandtangemanfh.com.
