Lavonne L. Latimer

LaVonne L. (Jensen) Latimer, 82, of Sidney, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024, at her residence. She was born December 2, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Jute and Ada (Bloom) Jensen. On June 22, 1987, LaVonne married her love John Latimer who survives.

In addition to her husband John, LaVonne is survived by her children Laura (Bruce) Taylor of Sandusky, Ohio, Lisa (Ron) Echols of Sidney, Ohio, and Lana (Steve) Woolley of Sidney, Ohio; along with eight grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter Linda Larger.

LaVonne worked as a bookkeeper for 25years at Latimers Cleaning Services before retiring. In addition to LaVonnes work she in enjoyed cooking, making crafts, having themed parties especially holiday ones, traveling to Maui, playing with her cat Domino, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, children, family, and friends.

LaVonne was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. LaVonne was of the Christian Faith.

In keeping with LaVonnes wishes, she will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held February 17, 2024, from 4-9 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sidney, Ohio.
