Leah Behr

Leah Redecio Behr, 50, of Sidney, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital - Elkhart, Indiana. She was born on March 22, 1974 in Sebac, Tudela Philippines, to Leonisa and the late Deodoro Gallur. 

Leah married James Daniel Behr on July 8, 1999, in Tudela, Philippines. He survives along with his two children, Tiffany (Jackson) Behr, and Angelieh Behr. She is survived by her seven siblings, Leo, Lou, Fe, Sarah, Eugene, Emma, and Lydia, as well in-laws, Cathy, Carol, Tom, Tony, Constance, Christina, and Carin. Leah was preceded in death by her father and mother in law, as well as one brother in law, William. 

Leah loved shopping, traveling, cooking, decorating for the holidays, gardening, taking pictures, karaoke, and dressing up. She was a great friend to all and a loving mother to her children. She had a big heart for her friends and family. She retired from JCPenney's, and most recently worked as a greeter for Walmart in Sidney. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday - March 2nd, 2025, from 1PM-4PM, at Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home - Sidney. A Mass of a Christian burial will be held on Monday - March 3, 2025, at 11AM, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Funeral Services are in the care of Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home - Sidney.
