Lois R. Motter

Lois Roselyn Motter, 80, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 3003 W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, Ohio passed away at Dorothy Love on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 3:02 AM. She was born on July 26, 1936 in Anna, Ohio the daughter of Roy Edgar and Ruth (Piper) Lacy and they are deceased. Surviving are two children, Randy Motter and wife Kimberly of Zeeland, Michigan and Amy Elizabeth Topp and husband David of Bowling Green, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kylie and Ryan Motter and Ben and Dan Topp. One brother Paul Lacy is deceased. She was a 1954 graduate of Anna High School in Anna, Ohio and also a graduate of Ohio Northern University. She had been an elementary music teacher in Vinton County and Sidney Christian Schools. She also did substitute teaching and was a nurse's aide for Wilson Hospital Home Health. She played the piano, organ, violin and French horn. She was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Anna, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Charla Grieves. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery, Swanders, Ohio.
