Margaret L. Burns, 93, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 3003 W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, Ohio, formerly of 1121 Spruce Ave., Sidney, Ohio, died at Wilson Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 5:10 AM. She was born January 13, 1913 in Lima, Ohio the daughter of Robert E. and Matilda (Morey) Burns. Surviving is one sister, Catherine Truster of Sidney, Ohio; two brothers, Michael B. Burns of Wichita, Kansas and Richard J. Burns of Bonner Springs, Kansas. Two brothers, Robert and John Burns are deceased. She was a graduate of Cherryvale High School in Cherryvale, Kansas. She was in the Wilson Hospital Auxiliary and the Rosary Altar Society. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She was the executive secretary for the president of the Copeland Corporation in Sidney for 35 years and retired in 1975. She loved to travel and play bridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Bensman. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Friday, April 7, 2006 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
