Marian Marie Hamaker

Marian Marie Hamaker, 81, died on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11:45 PM at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio. She was born September 20, 1931 in Newport, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Minnie Bell (Wolaver) Ellis and they are deceased. She was married to Edward V. Hamaker on July 23, 1956 and he survives in Sidney. Also surviving are seven children, James and wife Teresa of Sidney; Barbara and husband of Robert of Las Vegas, Nevada; Vernon and wife Brenda of Sidney; John and wife Sabine of Germany; Paul and wife Joyce of Anna; Robert and wife Carla of Sidney; Jamie and wife Kim of Sidney; several grandchildren, Edward, Scott, Stacey and husband Eric, Renee, Christy, Alexia, Mike and wife Suzanne, Clint, Chad, Jessica, Heather, Amy, Carrie, Olivia, Victoria, McCala, Gabe, Brad, Nicole, Justin, Cody, Jacub, Ashtayn, Cameryn, Cecil, Kortney, Kendra, Justice, Kristin, Harly, Jeff, Nathen, Steve, Kayla, Haley, Kyle, Emma, Hunter, Isaac, Trynnity, Brayden, Lilly, Lucas and Liam is deceased and one great grandson survives, Kason; one brother, Albert Ellis of Wapakoneta, Ohio; two sisters, Mae Davis and husband Ronnie of Sidney and Catherine Gross of Sidney. One brother, Henry Ellis and one sister, Mary Newman are deceased. Marian was a member of the Christian Tabernacle in Sidney. She retired from the Holiday Inn in Sidney. She loved her grandchildren and to travel. Private memorial services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home with Rev. Harold McKnight.
