Marilyn J. Kloeker

Marilyn J. Kloeker, 79, 2865 W. Mason Rd., Sidney, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 7:12 PM in the emergency room at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney. She was born November 18, 1934 in Sidney, Ohio the daughter of Edward and Erma (Starrett) Kupper and they preceded her in death. She was married to Lester Kloeker on April 24, 1954 and he passed away on October 23, 1992. Surviving are five children, Mrs. David (Judith E.) Boeke, Mrs. Mark (Julie D.) Slaybaugh , Mrs. Tim (Jill R.) Burden, Jeffrey R. Kloeker and Joseph Kloeker all of Sidney, Ohio; one sister, Martha Counts of Sidney, one brother, Robert Kupper of Sidney; thirteen grandchildren, Chris Kloeker, Kristy Kendall, Mindy Boeke, Andrew Boeke, Terrence Boeke, Edward Kloeker, Matthew Kloeker, Carissa Kloeker, Patricia (Slaybaugh) McCoy, Shannon Slaybaugh, Bradley Burden, Evan Burden and Katelyn Burden and nine great-grandchildren. One son, Steven Kloeker, one sister, Betty Hughes and two brothers, Edward Kupper and Don Kupper are deceased. Mrs. Kloeker was a 1953 graduate of Holy Angels School. She had worked at K and K Manufacturing Company which was owned by her family in the office for many years and also worked at Montgomery Wards in Sidney at one time. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Sodality. She was a volunteer for FISH, Wilson Hospice, Holy Angels School and Lehman High School. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Schmitmeyer and Rev. John Tonkin. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 4-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 324 S. Ohio Ave., Sidney, Ohio 45365. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
