Mary Christine Lietz

Mary Christine Lietz, 94, Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio formerly of 723 Campbell Rd., Sidney, Ohio died at Dorothy Love on Monday, October 25, 2004 at 9:00 AM. She was born March 12, 1910 in Minster, Ohio the daughter of Frank and Wilhemina (Hartley) Oldiges. She moved to Sidney in 1936 from Minster, Ohio. She was married on May 17, 1934 to Harold Lietz and he died March 19, 1984. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Ann) Podemski, South Bend, Indiana and two grandchildren, Mrs. Scott (Chris) Hough and David Podemski. Deceased are three brothers, Frank, Steven and Charles Oldiges. She was a member of the Wilson Hospital Auxiliary and the Rosary Altar Society. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She loved to play bridge. She was a homemaker. Memorial services will be held at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Reutter. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
