Mary Louise Phlipot

Mary Louise Phlipot, 80, formerly of Sidney, Ohio, died at her daughter, Helen Baer's residence in Lexington, Kentucky on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 5:25 PM. She was born December 27, 1926 in Kalida, Ohio the daughter of Henry and Catherine (Kastner) Wuller and they are deceased. She was married in 1950 to Victor Marion Phlipot and he died in 1989. Surviving are four children, Catherine Geiger and husband Larry of New Richmond, Ohio; Helen Baer of Lexington, Kentucky; David Phlipot and wife Roswitha of Tubulitz, Germany and Victoria Wolfe and husband Rick of Sidney, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Four brothers are deceased, Carl, Steve, Harold and Francis and also a great-grandchild and a son-in-law. She was a 1949 graduate of Good Samaritan School of Nursing and was a registered nurse. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was an avid card player and loved to garden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Bensman. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 3-7 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Blue Grass, Fayette County, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, Kentucky 40504. Envelopes will be available also at the funeral home.
