Mary W. Potter

Mary W. Potter, 96, 3003 W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, died at Dorothy Love Retirement Community on Sunday, April 6, 2003 at 6:10 PM. She was born July 1, 1906 in Mooreland, Indiana the daughter of Orliff and Lena (Waltz) Wright. She moved to Sidney in 1988 from Indianapolis, Indiana. She married in June, 1927 to Donald Potter Sr. and he died February 13, 1985. Surviving are two children, Donald Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland, and one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Neal of Young Harris, Georgia; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and one sister, Ruth Stockstill of Arizona. One son is deceased, also one sister and one brother are deceased. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sidney and had been a sales clerk for Ayres Department Store in Indianapolis, Indiana for 10 years. Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, 2003 from 2-4 PM> Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Dr. Fred B. Lacuesta. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis on Friday, April 11, 2003 at 1:00 PM.
