Michael 'Mike' F. Kelly

Michael Mike F. Kelly, 90, 1350 Sixth Ave., Sidney, Ohio died at his residence on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 10:00 PM. He was born July 14, 1913 in Glynwood, Ohio the son of Cornelius and Sylvia Kelly. He married Evelyn Garrison in 1936 and she is deceased. In 1965, he married Jean Blackford and she survives along with three children and their spouses, Mary Lee and Howard Roediger of Sidney, Ohio; Gary and Connie Kelly of Sidney, Ohio; and Judy and John Andrews of Sidney, Ohio; three stepchildren and their spouses, Connie and Joe Dalbey of Germantown, Ohio; Shane and Lavonia Blackford of Sidney, Ohio; and Wade and Noi Blackford of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. There are eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He has two sisters living, Koneta Goodner of Dayton, Ohio and Janelle Byrne of Wapakoneta, Ohio. Three brothers and six sisters are deceased. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church for 64 years. Mr. Kelly was employed as a supervisor by the Monarch Machine Tool Com in Sidney for 39 years. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus, Fish and Game, and the Ohio Racing Commission. He was an avid horse racing fan and owner and also a member of the Senior Swingers Golf Club. He has donated his body to Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. David Kelly and Rev. Michael Beatty.
