Mildred 'Bette' Elizabeth Fisher, 85, died on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio. She was born August 19, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Robert and Mildred (Rosser) Edge and they are deceased. She was married to Duane Enyeart and he died in 1972. On April 9, 1988 she married Richard H. Fisher and he survives in Sidney along with three children, Judith Harp of Sidney; Janice Elsner and husband Delmar of Sidney; and Robert Enyeart and wife Donna of Ozark, Alabama and two step-daughters, Virginia Shaw and husband Ernie of Sidney and Ann Cordonnier and husband Henry of Russia, Ohio; also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. One sister, June Littlefield and one brother, Robert Edge are deceased. She was a 1943 graduate of Columbus North High School in Columbus, Ohio. She had been the activities director at Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney and retired from there in 1985. She was a member of the Wilson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary; FISH in Sidney; a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sidney and also an elder and deacon at the church. Friends may call at the First Presbyterian Church in Sidney on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 1-3 PM. Funeral services will follow at the church at 3:00 PM with Rev. Joe Hinds. Burial will be at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Down Syndrome, 510 E. North Broadway, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
