Miriam Eileen Minniear

Miriam Eileen Minniear, 92, 514 S. Brooklyn Ave., Sidney, Ohio passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 3:11 PM. She was born April 24, 1928 in Sidney, Ohio the daughter of Robert and Olive (Murray) Roth and they are deceased. She was married to Darrell W. Minniear on May 23, 1948 and he passed away in 1986. Surviving is a daughter, Joyce Wick and husband Bruce of Sidney, Ohio and three sons, Joseph and wife Barbara of Arizona, Ken and wife Lisa of Sidney and Andy of Sidney, Ohio and 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Three sisters Janice Iiams, Anabelle Trossel and Beatrice Bodiker and one brother, Robert Roth are deceased and one granddaughter and one great grandson are deceased. Mrs. Minniear was a 1946 graduate of Sidney High School, Sidney, Ohio. She retired from the Ohio Connection company as a billing clerk and receptionist. She was a volunteer at FISH, Sidney, Ohio and also a volunteer at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Sidney. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney is honored to serve the Minniear family and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are no public services scheduled at this time. Burial will be at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio at a later date.
