Pauline Mowery Cain

Pauline Mowery Cain, 90, passed away peacefully on Thurday, December 1, 2016 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. She was born February 20, 1926 in Pickaway County, Ohio the daughter of Nelson Irwin and Hazel Jane (Poling) Mowery and they are deceased. On June 6, 1947, she married William Guy Cain who preceded her in death in 2006. Survivors include a son, James Cain (Jenny deceased) and Cindy Akin and husband David. Son, Pat Cain passed away in 2011. She had six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Polly, as she was known by many, helped her husband and sons run the family grocery stores starting in 1960 in St. Paris, Ohio. She had a very giving heart and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Christmas, her favorite holiday, was always made special by Pollys baking, decorating, and parties. During her favorite holiday this year, we will remember Polly with great love and celebrate it with as much joy as she did.
